‘Suvaartha’ is a Telugu (a language of the people in Andhra Pradesh, South India) word for the English ‘Gospel’.
God, the father, originated the ‘Suvaartha.’

Cross, the means, confirmed the “Suvaartha.’
Resurrection, the gateway, empowered the ‘Suvaartha.’
Holy Spirit, the comforter, carries the ‘Suvaartha.’

The visionary of Suvaartha TV is Rev. Chatla Luther, son of Dr. Chatla Devasahayam. He holds Masters degree in English Literature (M.A. Eng litt) from Nagarjuna University; Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune; Masters in Theology (Th.M.) in Old Testament from Gurukul Lutheran Theological College & Seminary, Chennai; and was a Ph.D. candidate in Old Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary, USA. Rev. Luther got married to Dr. Gnana Ratna, a medical doctor and God blessed with two boys Samuel (9 yrs) and Nissi (9 months).
Suvaartha office was inaugurated on 15th of June, 2010 in Mogalrajpuram, the business hub of Vijayawada city. The trial signal was launched on 16th of July, 2010. In the course of time Suvaartha moved to Governorpeta, the down town Vijayawada, to its own office. Branch offices were started consequently in Machilipatnam, Guntur and Narasaraopet towns.
Finally the grand inauguration was held on 4th of Aug, 2010 in the midst of senators, local political and government leaders, church pastors and Christian leaders, and thousands of delegates. The chief guest of the inauguration ceremony was Mr. Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad, the honorable minister of state for primary education, accompanied by several state senators and political and administrative heads of the city.
Suvaartha is a regional channel that covers the whole of Krishna and Guntur districts. However, the telecast is accessible partly in Prakasam and Khammam districts as well. On the whole, Suvaartha is accessible to more than four million people around the clock. Suvaartha is operated from its central office in Vijayawada, but it has local offices in Machilipatnam, Guntur and Narasaraopet towns.
Suvaartha is unique and distinctive in its stand from other Christian devotional channels as it has fourteen exclusive programs of its own. A few of its successful programs are Hrudayaantarangam (the autobiography of the successful pastors/church leaders but programmed in an inter active manner), Gnanavanturalu (an exposition of the influential biblical women to derive implications for the modern woman,) etc.
Nevertheless, almost all the recognized and noteworthy pastors and leaders of the state in general, district in particular are the regular speakers of Suvaartha. A few of such are Dr. P.
